Puppy Starter Course
1-2-1 at home training. Four to six, weekly 1 hour sessions.
You and your puppy will learn; the principals of positive reinforcement training, socialisation, teach puppy their name, house training, stop biting, about chewing and teething, sit, excellent recall, stay, lie down, stay, lead walking, impulse control, body touch, food manners, relaxation, eye contact, leave it, appropriate play and toys, the right levels of excise for the puppy, mental stimulation and much more. I will also teach you how to avoid problems behaviours developing in the future.
This takes between 4 and 6 weeks.
Who is this course for?
Puppies from 9 weeks to 6 months with dedicated puppy parents who will be able to practice for at least 20 minutes a day between lessons.
The hourly rate for puppy training is £45
A travel surchage of £5-10 applies for training more than 5 miles from Brighton
Pre-puppy visits
Get yourself prepared for the new family member.
Bringing puppy home, the first night, feeding, introducing other animals and children, puppy proofing your home and garden, toys, leads, harnesses, collars, beds, crates, bowls, house training, understanding positive reinforcement etc.
All of your questions answered and some you won't have thought of. The service is highly valued by first time puppy owners

Initial Consultation
During the consultation, I will get to know you and your dog, analyze the behaviors, establish your goals and expectations for training, design and start implemeting a training plan. I like to get stuck in straight away and don't sit for 3 hours talking and making notes. The training starts from the moment the dog sets eyes on me.
